the exhibition "VYGER" is dealing with our human future in relation to medical implants and mutations through technology into a futuristic as well as dystopia imagination.
In this age of information, neuroscience and biotechnologies, the human body is redesigned to adapt the new environment of the information society.
computer technology is changing our relationship to our body and if your are not connected your out of the system. These sculptures combine the
fictional organic structures that make up our material with alien object. The materials are shiny and colorful we use for greater efficiency in sports
such as skis or surfing gear. All these futuristic body parts and extensions seem to have invaded our inside. The utopia of the most efficient body
causing a dystopia of alienated body parts, extensions we might secretly desire to overcome the organic, to take on the next form. The future is wonderful.
